Former factory reimagined as a campus

The study asks whether a former factory in Chieti could accommodate a university sports campus and, if so, how much it would cost: the answer is a €22.2 million scheme developed based on technical and economic feasibility.

The work began with the translation of the CAD survey into a BIM model, which served as the foundation for the seismic calculations and the subsequent development of the scheme by the rest of the team.

I then produced the drawing set, the demolition and reconstruction plans, and part of the masterplan. My main focus was on the outdoor spaces and the multistorey car park: six levels and 315 spaces, worked through from the volumetric study to the dimensioned plans and sections.
